There's a Hole in My Wall

Have you ever heard that song, "There's a hole in my bucket, dear Liza, dear Liza. There's a hole in my bucket, dear Liza a hole."? Well, by golly, there is a hole in our wall -- actually two holes!

You see, the new part of the house has been joined to the old part. So now instead of having to go outside and around to get inside the new house addition - we can just walk through the wall. Because -- there is a hole in our wall!

Mr. Fixit cut the main opening which joins the living room to the kitchen. He also cut a smaller opening for the hallway, which will lead to our bedroom. The sheetrock folks will be working next week to tie the new and old parts together. Then you will never know that they were two separate house pieces. Quite miraculous!

Enjoy the progress pix!

  1. I gotta say, there's nothing quite as exciting as cutting a hole in the wall. Why didn't Mr. Fixit let you give it a try? Dude, you missed OUT! It's an empowering and oh-so-exciting experience!
